Program Information
One of the most powerful skills you can possess is the ability to deliver a powerful presentation that creates buzz and impresses your audience. This can assist you in many areas of your life and can lead to job promotions, increased sales and improved self-confidence. This highly interactive program is a “can’t miss” for anyone, whether they are the novice who wants to crush public speaking anxiety, or the expert who wants to increase their impact!
In this training, you will learn about:
Day one will focus on actively learning content via lecture, discussion, and activities on these topics:
- Strategies for channeling your nervousness into the presentation
- Alleviating speech anxiety
- Becoming “audience centered” at every stage of the presentation process
- Grabbing and keeping their attention
- The building blocks of business presentations
- Creating rapport with the audience
- What your body can do to influence others
- How your voice can make or break you during a presentation
- Handling different types of audiences
- Effective use of PowerPoint and other aids
- Adding humor for impact
Due to the highly interactive nature of this program, space is limited to 18 participants. Each participant will to make brief presentations on a topic of their choice and receive constructive feedback from both the instructor and fellow attendees.

Inclement Weather Policy
If a weather/snow emergency is declared in Marion County, this workshop will be cancelled or postponed. You will receive a refund or your registration may be moved to new date. If traveling from outside of Marion County and you are unable to attend the workshop due to inclement weather in your area, please call us at (800) 824-6885. A credit certificate will be issued and can be used toward any future Indiana Chamber regulatory compliance conference for up to one year. This credit is fully transferable within your company.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing. A $25 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations. Cancellations received within two weeks of the summit will be issued a credit certificate, less a $25 processing fee per person. Credits can be used toward any future Indiana Chamber conference for up to one year. Credit is fully transferable. Substitutions are welcome at any time, but requested in advance of the event.
