Gene Fitzgerald has nearly 50 years of experience
Donovan CPAs announces the retirement of Eugene “Gene” Fitzgerald after nearly 50 years in the profession. Fitzgerald is a Ball State University alumnus and started his career in 1972 at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company.
Fitzgerald opened his own practice in 1978 and later joined Stan Isaac to form Fitzgerald Isaac LLP. During 2015, in order to offer a wider range of services to his clients, he sold the firm to Donovan CPAs. He has been working at Donovan since that time and was responsible for auditing, accounting, tax planning and compliance.
