Cope Environmental Center: Holds Annual Fall Foliage Race on 10/20 (Centerville)

Cope Environmental Center (CEC) will hold its annual Fall Foliage 5K/10K, an official Wayne County Challenge race, on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

Whether you walk or run, the Fall Foliage 5K/10K is a great race for friends and family. This event helps to raise funds for CEC’s sustainable education programs and encourages healthy and sustainable lifestyle choices for members within our community. Participants will have the chance to win door prizes such as gift cards, game passes, and more.

Registration for this race is required. Pre-register before October 13 for only $20.00, or register for $25.00 on October 13 until the morning of the race.  Registration on the day of the race begins at 7:30a.m. and closes at 8:45a.m. The race begins at 9a.m. To register online, please visit wcchallenge.org/fallfoliage. Cope Environmental Center is a 130-acre outdoor classroom for interactive, hands-on learning on sustainability and nature-based programming. Its Living Building demonstrates ‘green’ building and design features, while also providing educational spaces for programs and community events. CEC was founded in 1992 as a vision of Jim and Helen Cope and Francis Parks.  CEC is located just south of U.S. 40 at 1730 Airport Road, Centerville, IN.
