Two new locations provide convenient options for primary care services

INDIANAPOLIS – Community Health Network announced it is expanding access to care with convenient options for primary care services at two new locations, in Kokomo and Carmel.

The care site in Kokomo is a primary care clinic that shares space with Walgreens at 3608 S. La Fountain Street. Community and Walgreens have partnered to bring convenient and on-demand primary care services with Community Clinic at Walgreens locations throughout central Indiana. The new clinic, with two dedicated primary care physicians and extended hours, is located near Community Howard Regional Health and will serve patients needing diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.

“Community Health Network is deeply committed to enhancing health and well-being in the communities we serve,” said Dr. John Kunzer, Executive Vice President, Community Physician Network. “Through our partnership with Walgreens, our patients have access to care where and when they need it. We are excited about the opportunity to extend that partnership and the care we already provide the Kokomo community.”

Pediatric care practices in Carmel will have a new home at 12188A N. Meridian Street Suite 325. The location, which is an existing medical office building that houses other Community services, will feature 12 examination rooms and three dedicated pediatricians, to better serve the needs of Carmel families.

“This strategic expansion ensures individuals can access the appropriate, exceptional care simply and conveniently,” said Dr. Kunzer.

The Kokomo clinic opened earlier this month with two physicians, Dr. Baikadi Ravindra and Dr. Techsin Ty, caring for patients. Both have served the greater Kokomo community for many years.

The Carmel offices of Dr. Jennifer Layman, Dr. Alicia Leedy and Dr. Sarah Palmer are expected to open later this month.

Both locations are accepting new patients. Patients needing more information can call 317-621-2727 or 1-800-777-7775 or visit ecommunity.com.
