CEO Ted Dickman is pleased to announce BKD CPAs & Advisors acquired the financial institution practice of Harper & Pearson Company, P.C. in a deal that closed January 9, 2018.

“We want to extend a warm welcome to our new BKD team members,” Dickman said.  “Harper & Pearson’s commitment to client service and true expertise will help us achieve our goals as we move forward.”

The purchase expands BKD’s role as a financial services provider in the Houston market and across Texas.  BKD currently serves more than 120 financial institutions in the Lone Star State.

BKD is the eighth-largest accounting firm in Houston, as reported by the Houston Business Journal’s Book of Lists.  Some of Harper & Pearson’s staff will join BKD’s Houston office at 2800 Post Oak Boulevard.
