BERNE – First Bank of Berne is proud to announce that Erica Bennett has been promoted to Retail Banking Manager. In her new role, Erica will oversee the bank’s personal banking services, and develop and execute strategies that enhance daily operations across all branches. She will also lead branch managers in fulfilling First Bank of Berne’s mission to make banking easy for all customers.
Erica brings more than 16 years of financial knowledge and banking experience to her new position, including 12 years serving in management roles. She most recently served as Branch Manager of First Bank of Berne’s Bluffton, Indiana branch. Her broad experience has equipped her with a well-rounded perspective of all aspects of personal financial services that First Bank of Berne provides, from checking and savings, to personal loans, home loans, wealth management and more.

A lifelong Wells County resident, Erica graduated from Southern Wells High School and was pursuing a degree in nursing when she became intrigued by the world of banking and changed career paths. “What drew me to banking was the opportunity to combine my love of numbers and all things financial with my equally strong desire to help people.
