FORT WAYNE – STAR Bank would like to announce that Thomas Marcuccilli will take over as the Director of Marketing and Communications. Marcuccilli most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Retail Banking at STAR for the last five years and served as the retail sales manager for six years prior. He is based out of Fort Wayne at STAR’s new headquarters.
In this role, he will oversee the bank’s marketing and advertising strategies, brand management, communications, community relations and the development and evolution of STAR’s products and services in collaboration with its lines of business.
A well-established leader, he became STAR Bank’s Senior Vice President of Retail Banking in April of 2019 after serving as vice present in a similar capacity since 2013. Marcuccilli spent time as an Sr. Account Sales Manager at Travelers Haven in Denver, CO, as well as in advertising sales at Emmis Communications and the Chicago Sun Times prior to joining STAR.

Marcuccilli has been a member of the Foundation Board at Ivy Tech Community College since 2018. Since he joined the board, STAR has offered a pair of yearly scholarships to deserving students.
Most recently, he joined the board at the Fort Wayne Civic Theater, one of the longest standing downtown Fort Wayne entertainment destinations, in 2022.
Marcuccilli earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola University in Chicago and completed the Graduate School of Banking, where he also earned a Certificate of Executive Leadership, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016.
