STAR Bank has hired Tara Cahill, CPA to fill the role of controller, bringing over five years of financial and accounting experience to the position.
In this role, Cahill will lead the finance and accounting teams, as well as provide financial reporting and performance analyses to executive leadership. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ball State University in 2013, and an MBA from Indiana Tech in 2017.
Cahill spent time with the Fort Wayne TinCaps organization, before gaining her accounting experience with Forvis, formerly known as BKD, prior to joining Ash Brokerage where she worked as a Senior Financial Analyst.
She serves as a board member for Fort 4 Fitness, where she is co-chair on one of the organization’s four annual events, the Summer Sunset Relay. She previously served on the board of Mustard Seed Furniture Bank. She volunteers for Junior Achievement through their “JA in a Day” program in addition to volunteering at City Church in their Kids Ministry and Care Team, which provides meals to members of the church.
