The Circus Hall of Fame is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Calliope Festival to be held June 16th, 17th and 18th, 2023. This year’s amazing event included four different steam calliopes all playing in the same place. Air Calliopes, the Peru Circus City Band performing on the recently renovated former Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Bandstand wagon, Band Organs, Concertinas, a Unafon and more.
For 2023, we are going to change it up a bit. We are inviting anyone that has a Community Band, High School ensemble, Ragtime, Blue Grass, Country ( No Rock and Roll with electric guitars ) College Music Groups, College Marching Bands to come play at the Calliope Festival next Year. We will make sure no Band is playing when the Steam Calliopes are playing. We offer each band the opportunity to play on the Ringling Bandstand wagon, giving 16 lucky people the chance of a lifetime. Larger bands can play on the wagon and the ground both.
