The Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Indiana Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation are excited to offer a series of free educational webinars for Hoosier business owners who are considering selling their businesses or beginning the process of succession planning. These events will cover topics such as determining value, identifying resources for legal guidance and developing a succession plan.

The first workshop is “Getting Started: A Practical Guide to Succession Readiness Planning,” and will take place June 25 from noon – 1 p.m. EST.   

  • Description: This webinar provides business owners with a practical roadmap for creating a successful succession plan that protects the future of their company, employees, and legacy. Attendees will learn key strategies for identifying successors, preparing for leadership transitions, and avoiding common legal and financial pitfalls. Whether planning for retirement, an unexpected event, or long-term growth, this session offers actionable insights to help ensure a smooth and confident transition.

  • Speakers: Brian Schutt, director of Indiana’s Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, is the discussion facilitator. Panelists include Ed Mysogland, managing partner at Indiana Business Advisors, and Scott Snider, president of the Exit Planning Institute.
