Third District Congressman Jim Banks and Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Chancellor Vicky Carwein will hold a news conference for members of the media tomorrow, August 2, at noon in the Office of International Education, Walb Union, Room 145.
The news conference coincides with the start of the annual job fair hosted by Congressman Banks, in conjunction with IPFW and WorkOne Northeast, which runs from noon to 3 p.m. in the Walb Union International Ballroom.
Representatives from 75 employers with more than 2,700 job openings will be set up to meet with job seekers.
The job fair is free and open to the public. Parking is available in Parking Garage 2, located near Walb Union.
