Indiana Grand Racing & Casino will host two job fair sessions to introduce employment opportunities for the upcoming 2018 racing season, which begins on Tuesday, April 17. The first session, focused on seasonal racing-related job openings, is set for Saturday, March 10 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A general session, including job postings for casino and racing departments, is set for Monday, March 19 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Departments hiring seasonal team members include Food & Beverage, Mutuels, Trackside Maintenance, Equine EVS, Trackside Labor, and Trackside Security. Numerous positions are available for the 16th racing season of Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing.

Both job fair sessions will provide applicants the opportunity to meet with Indiana Grand personnel to discuss potential job opportunities. Representatives from many of the departments will be on hand to explain specific job duties and responsibilities.

“We will accept applications and offer on-site interviews for open positions during both job fair sessions,” said Jennifer Hudon-Terrell, human resources development manager. “This is a great opportunity to get involved in a fun, fast-paced environment that has become one of the top entertainment destinations in Central Indiana. If you’re in the job market, we encourage you to come out and talk with us.”

The job fairs will be held in the OTB on the first floor of the race course. Potential candidates may park in the parking garage or on the South Surface parking lot and take the shuttle to first-floor trackside. Attendees looking for employment are asked to bring appropriate identification for on-the-spot interviews and possible job offers.

“Indiana Grand is a high-energy company and a wonderful place to work. We’re conveniently located adjacent to I-74, for an easy work commute from every direction,” Hudon-Terrell added.

Indiana Grand Race Course runs live racing events approximately six months a year and seeks seasonal help during these busy months. Added bonuses for season team members include competitive compensation, the opportunity to earn PTO (personal time off) for part-time positions, a referral awards program, on-site healthcare clinic, team member dining room, and exciting team member events.
