(INDIANAPOLIS) — Indiana Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kevin Brinegar was among those speaking on behalf of U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-IN) and his re-election bid today in Fishers.

“Senator Young is a hard-working problem solver, which comes from his training and service in the U.S. Marines as well as his extensive academic background,” Brinegar says, adding Young is a “strong, visionary leader with a work ethic unlike anyone I’ve ever met.”

He continues, “While Todd is a true conservative who reflects our Hoosier values, he understands that our real adversaries, economically and militarily, are China, Russia, North Korea and others, and not the senators or representatives who may have opposing political views.”

Brinegar credits Young for reaching across the aisle to work with Democratic leadership in authoring and supporting the CHIPS and Science Act to further the country’s economic and national security.

“Because of measures like this and his ongoing support of the state’s business climate, the Indiana Chamber is proud to endorse Sen. Young and his continuing service as he represents the people of Indiana and the United States.”

Young was first elected to the Senate in 2016 after serving three terms as a U.S. Representative in Indiana’s ninth district.
