This year’s keynote speaker is the wonderful J.D. Vance! \n \nJ.D. Vance is an investor\, innovator and author of the #1 New York Times best seller Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis. He is also a man with a passion for seeing Midwest states and their people – including Hoosiers – thrive. He will be returning to Indiana to share his keen insights and observations with attendees of the Indiana Chamber’s 29th Annual Awards Dinner. \nA Middletown\, Ohio native\, Vance is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and Operation Iraqi Freedom\, and a graduate of Ohio State University and Yale Law School. In early 2017\, he joined as a partner in AOL founder Steve Case’s venture capital company\, Revolution LLC\, which concentrates on bolstering entrepreneurship and disruptive\, high-growth companies outside of the sphere of Silicon Valley.
