Bill Waltz
Director, Taxation and Public Finance
Bill joined the Chamber in September 2004. Immediately prior, he spent more than two years as a commissioner for the Indiana Board of Tax Review. Previously, he worked for four years as the general counsel and executive secretary to the State Board of Tax Commissioners. Bill also served as counsel to the Legislative Services Agency, where he drafted legislation and researched legal issues related to business commerce, finance and tax.
Bill holds a law degree from Indiana University and a bachelor’s of science from Ball State University, where he graduated cum laude.
He is a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash, the state’s highest public service honor, which was awarded by Gov. Joe Kernan.
