Mike Ripley

Vice President, Health Care Policy

Mike joined the Chamber in November 2008. He's a former state legislator who served the 79th district and the citizens of Adams, Allen and Wells counties from 1996-2008.

His professional career also includes work with an engineering firm and seven years as the Adams County economic development director. In addition, he previously had his own Allstate Insurance Agency, marketing property and casualty, and life and health insurance products.

Mike has over a decade worth of experience in the insurance industry, plus he's been heavily involved in the health care arena while in the Legislature, including serving as the chairman of the House Insurance Committee.

A graduate of Ball State University, Mike was the Insurance Institute of Indiana's Legislator of the Year in 2005 and 2008. Additionally, in 1999, the Indiana Chamber tapped him as a Small Business Champion for his legislative work on behalf of the small business community.
