- Electrical Safety: Lockout/Tagout, May 19 at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center at 115 W. Washington St., Suite 850S in downtown Indianapolis, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will gain the knowledge they need to comply and exceed federal and Indiana OSHA regulations for control of hazardous energy. Topics will include work practices, safeguards and personnel protection, use of equipment and detailed training on lockout and tagout. Cost: Indiana Chamber members, $249; non-members, $299.
- Prevention of Strains and Sprains Workshop, May 20 at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center at 115 W. Washington St., Suite 850S in downtown Indianapolis, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will receive training to become an integral part of their employer's training and monitoring of the workplace to prevent strains, sprains and other work-related injuries. The seminar will cover how to address slips and falls, the importance of workplace design, motivating employees, prevention and rehabilitation of workplace injuries. Cost: Indiana Chamber members, $249; non-members, $299.
- Forklift Safety: Train the Trainer Workshop, May 21 at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center at 115 W. Washington St., Suite 850S in downtown Indianapolis, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Companies that keep up-to-date on forklift training can prevent injuries and avoid hefty fines from OSHA. Forklift operators should receive training at least every three years to have the most current safety information. Attendees will learn the latest standards and requirements from OSHA and other provisions. Cost: Indiana Chamber members, $249; non-members, $299.
