An expert in attracting and retaining the next generation of workers will discuss an issue that has plagued Indiana in recent years: Hoosier graduates taking jobs in other states. Rebecca Ryan, founder of Next Generation Consulting, will present “Brain Drain, Brain Gain” at the December 11 Economic Club of Indiana luncheon.
Ryan’s firm works with companies that want to be a great place to work for the next wave of young professionals as well as with communities that want to attract and keep these individuals. She wrote about her company’s research in last year’s book “Live First, Work Second: Getting Inside the Minds of the Next Generation.”
The Economic Club luncheon runs from noon to 1:30 p.m. (EST) at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.
To purchase tickets for these and other Economic Club programs, visit www.economicclubofindiana.com or call (800) 824-6885. Individual seats and tables of 10 are available. Economic Club members will receive a discounted price on all ticket packages, including season tickets.
The monthly Economic Club of Indiana programs bring together audiences of up to 800 people and run from September through May.
