Indiana Chamber Foundation
The Indiana Chamber Foundation commissions practical policy research, initiates actions and seeks solutions that positively impact Indiana’s economic future and enhance the quality of life for all Hoosiers. Most notably, it includes the new Indiana Prosperity 2035 long-range economic vision plan for the state (released August 2023), as well as its supporting regular report cards on how the state is progressing.
The Indiana Chamber Foundation currently has two major research studies being conducted by professional research firms – a sweeping study of the state’s taxation system and a new statewide water resources study, both to be released in 2024.

- November 2020 energy study, Powering Indiana’s Economic Future, is a comprehensive look at energy usage and related issues past, present and future
- December 2019 update on the groundbreaking water study of five years earlier and the impact it continues to have toward development of a long-term water resources plan
- Summer 2019 report goes back 20 years to the original state economic development plan (Economic Vision 2010) and outlines some of the many accomplishments over the past two decades
- 2019 update to the original Indiana Venture Capital Study (2000) and the evolution of the venture capital investment tax credit
- 2017 study on the impact school corporation size has on student achievement
- 2016 work share study that shows the benefits of this program for employees, employers and the state when the next economic downturn hits
